TSAAlum-2016-CTA

Florida TSA is known for having the most supportive and involved alumni group among state delegations.  We would not be able to hold successful leadership and state conferences without the tireless work of our dedicated alumni.  From judging/coordinating events, to running around solving problems, our alumni do it all.  Due to all this hard work, Florida TSA takes great care of its alumni, offering many incentives to volunteer.  If you are interested in volunteering as an alumni at an upcoming conference, see the information below.

Florida TSA Alumni Information

Florida TSA Alumni are only in good standing if dues are paid each year.

Alumni may register and attend the State Conference with a chapter or apply for a Conference Assistant Position.

Alumni who arrive at the conference without registering will be assessed the registration fee plus late fee - and be responsible for their own housing arrangements.

Florida TSA Conference Assistants

Conference Assistants will be selected to support each conference based on conference needs.

Florida TSA Alumni may apply for these positions if they have paid dues for the current school year. Application must be submitted by the deadline, with the required conference deposit for consideration. Late applications will not be considered. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance; deposit money will be refunded if an alumni application is not selected.

The Alumni selected as Conference Assistants will be notified, and will be provided with complimentary housing during a conference.

State Conference Assistants may not judge any Level II (high school) events under any circumstances; however, they may be asked to help judge or coordinator a Level I (middle school) event if an opening becomes available during the conference.

Conference performance will be evaluated to ensure the best available Conference Assistants are selected for future conferences. Feedback could come from advisors, board members, school administrators, and/or Florida TSA staff.
